It has been an interesting Spring!
As I write this the Government, here, in the UK has said the move beyond Covid-19 would be a 'gradual progress' and not a 'single leap to freedom'. I has been and remains distressing time for so many. Yet for some people it has presented the chance for more recreation. There have been unprecedented levels of walking and cycling during the pandemic.
I have established more of a routine with regard to my painting and drawing, managing to devote three hours each day to work. The subjects from ''take me into West Wales and then to the Kent Coast and sometimes to my beloved Essex. And I have moved easily from acrylics returning to oil paints with that malleability and lustre.
Here is a selection of some of my work since March 20th.
