Patricia Lynch BA (hons) Fine Art My latest work involves the use of both acrylics on canvas and egg tempera on gesso panels. Some years ago I was taught the ancient techniques of egg tempera and gilding and I am now revisiting this beautiful medium to produce powerful abstract pieces - almost modern day icons featuring the human figure and elements of landscape. I am also a printmaker, specialising in collograph, drypoint and linocut. Moonlight Reflections - egg tempera on gesso panel Strange Harmony - egg tempera on gesso panel

Rosina Flower "I love to paint many different subjects, in oils, watercolours or acrylics. It all depends on how I feel when I get up in the morning. A special fondness is for flowers and I find their ethereal and fleeting beauty a great challenge. I don’t remember a time when painting wasn’t part of my life and my love of light, colour and paint continue to bring renewed excitement. In the Studio The Pond again

Working mainly in the mediums of oil and acrylic paint, my paintings are landscape based but also focus on the personal journey, the lived experience.
Inspiration comes from the fusion of memory and that 'personal' journey; the experience of living and being; an awareness of sensation, sound and colour. Like memories of songs and poems, spaces and places remain within us and through the process of painting they are recalled, re-emerging as new spaces, imaginary spaces and sometimes places of dreams and hopes. isabelfallow@btinternet.com |
