ALLOTMENTS

The Allotments have been around since Anglo-Saxon times. "Those we recognise today have their roots in the Nineteenth Century when land was given over to the labouring poor for the provision of food growing”  (National Allotment Society website)

Sian’s allotment is five minutes walk from the house. This is year one. She works on her plot, I make drawings.
